Chob, Blog, Gob, Knob….

To give my blog a tiny bit of personality I decided I would create a ‘portmanteauword and join ‘Chop’ and ‘Blog’ together creating ‘Chob’. I think it works in a number of ways anyway, I am trying to impress my brother as he is a linguist.

Next I decided to create a logo, realistically I didn’t want to think to much about it.. It’s JUST a blog. So I punched out this. I chose ‘a’, as it’s a little easier to work with being more ‘Web 2′ orientated. Do I sound like a knob?Chob Logo Design

Yeah, but ‘Chob’ isn’t a portmanteau of Chop and Blog, that’d be ‘Chog’, or ‘blop’. But doesn’t matter, it still sounds like it should. Nice stylesheet; did you do that yourself or did you download the ‘Journalist’ theme for wordpress and edit it?

I might have to solicit your help in creating a pictorial banner for our dictionary project blog/website Pfed.info.

I love them both but I agree ‘a’ is more useful for all sorts. I love it in orange on the header.

Aidan might know – when referring to someone as a knob, is it ‘knob’ or ‘nob’?

For the record you are neither Leon. You’re a Chob.
