Wealth Achievers Logo
Redesign of old logo I came up with these ideas, No.1 is the closest to the original and is the one which was selected and considering the subject (Finance company…. yawn) it’s the one I prefer.

I’ve decided I it would be nice to use it Paper Vision 3D in my porfolio. The thing is it needs to be used in a effective useful manner as you tend to see a lot of sites just using it for the heck! So just for the heck, I’ve created a 3D business card… I’ve got a lot to learn, but it’s fun!

Just a while ago I found out that there would be no more print Gocco art supplies being produced… Apparently the price of bulbs and screens has really increased in price. The Gocco is an amazing machine, but maybe I’ll have to upgrade to a full on multi carousel screen printing press, I’ve always wanted to print my own T-Shirts. Grrrrrruhhhh (Tim Allen grunt) Stay tuned for a CHOB shirt!

To give my blog a tiny bit of personality I decided I would create a ‘portmanteau‘ word and join ‘Chop’ and ‘Blog’ together creating ‘Chob’. I think it works in a number of ways anyway, I am trying to impress my brother as he is a linguist.
Next I decided to create a logo, realistically I didn’t want to think to much about it.. It’s JUST a blog. So I punched out this. I chose ‘a’, as it’s a little easier to work with being more ‘Web 2′ orientated. Do I sound like a knob?
After the 3rd attempt at a blog this time I’ve done it properly and installed word press on my server. In the midst of updating my own website (chop.com.au) I thought it best to get a more ‘professional’ blog happening, where I can post little snippets of my professional work as well as general interests.
I’ve currently hacked up the ‘Fluid-Blue‘ theme, so I’ll give credit to them here. However now that I’m poking around in the CSS and PHP I thinking it better to start from scratch, although in saying that the HACK way is easier to get things moving, leaving a little more time on the design… shit I think I better get back to my real website, procrastinating NO….
Modeled and rendered in Maya, this was my first attempt at product visualisation. I know a phone is pretty boring although I think it’s a good base to start from. I estimate it took around 5 days to model and render… the final tweaks taking most of the time.
